History

1984

IB BLUMENAUER was founded in 1984 near Kassel. With a focus on sales of machine tools and spare parts for the metal-producing and processing industry. Sales areas were and are the former Yugoslavia (today the new 7 states), the Eastern Bloc states, Egypt and the Middle Arabian region.

1984

In May 1984 we took part in our first trade fair in Budapest

1985

In Zagreb we exhibited at the “BIAM” and the “Autumn Fair”.

Wie alles begann.

1986

In the spring we started our activities on the Egyptian market through a local representative. December 1986 we took over the representation of the company ZF Friedrichshafen AG for the former Yugoslavia.

1987

Relocation of the company headquarters to Frasdorf.

1988

With the acquisition of the first agency for the former Yugoslavia, the presentation at the “Sajam Tehnik” trade fair in Beograd followed in May 1988. This was followed by further trade fairs in Belgrade in 2007-2010.

1999

After the division of Yugoslavia and due to a lot of restructuring in the state-owned companies, we brought a representative for Serbia into the team.

2006

David Blumenauer joins the management team and changes to IB BLUMENAUER KG. Takeover of the representation of the company R + W Kupplungen from Klingenberg for the countries Serbia, Bosnia & H., Montenegro and Macedonia.

2008

Takeover of the first foreign agency, the company ADL Insulflex Canada for sales in southern Germany as well as Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia & H. and Macedonia. In 2014 our area was expanded to include Serbia and Montenegro.

2010

Our first trade fair took place at EUROGUSS in Nuremberg. In spring we took over the representation of the company Heppenstall AG Switzerland and its subsidiary WOKO Magnete GmbH Duisburg for Slovenia, Croatia and Bosnia & H.

2013

In March 2013 we expanded our sales area and exhibit for the first time at the metalworking fair in Sofia / Bulgaria. In autumn we took over the representation of the companies EBU Umformtechnik and BILZ Vibrationstechnology AG.

2014

In January we should welcome a new representative in our team for the countries Croatia and Bosnia & H.

2017

In May we should welcome a new representative in our team for Serbia, Bosnia & H. and Montenegro.

2018

Takeover of the representation of the company SGF (Süddeutsche joint disk factory Waldkraiburg) for the countries Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia & H., Montenegro, Macedonia, Kosovo, Albania. This year we exhibited at the BIAM in Croatia again after years.

2020

New contractor for Serbia.
